How to Complete Letter From a Strange Woman Quest in Honkai Star Rail

The Letter From a Strange Woman quest in Honkai Star Rail is one of the Companion Missions that players can complete in the game. The quest involves the players responding to Kafka’s messages and helping her while also dealing with enemies along the way. Completing the Letter From a Strange Woman quest in Honkai Star Rail will earn players a plethora of rewards like Stellar Jades, Trailblaze EXP, Credits, and more. Players will also earn an achievement upcon completing the quest. However, unlike other Companion Missions, completing the Letter From a Strange Woman quest will not make Kafka a visitor on the Astral Express.

Mission Guide

To unlock Kafka’’s Companion Mission, Letter From a Strange Woman in Honkai Star Rail, players will first have to complete A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant mission which is part of the Topclouded Towerthrust! Trailblaze Mission.

After meeting all the requirements, the Companion Mission will start with an in-game message where Kafka will ask for your help in suppressing Blade’s mara.

The option you chose will not matter so feel free to click on any response for the text message. According to the text message Blade’s mara symptoms are getting worse and Kafka needs your help.

A quest marker will then be marked on your map, telling you to head to the Divination Commission. Upon arriving at the location, Kafka will be there waiting. You will then have to make a decision to help her or not.

Keep in mind that your choice will affect the ending of the Letter From a Strange Woman in Honkai Star Rail. The achievement you earn will also vary on your choice.

Refusing to help Kafka will end the quest immediately and you will earn all the Companion Mission rewards and obtain the True Free Will achievement.

Agreeing to help Kafka will allow players to proceed with the Letter From a Strange Woman mission and earn the rewards later and obtain the Free Will achievement.

If you chose to help Kafka, you will then be tasked to defeat two groups of enemies. Simply follow the markers to locate them.

After defeating the enemies, head back to Kafka where both of you will play a game of Truth and Lies, and she gets to ask first. The dialogues you chose in this section will not affect the story in any way.

After answering the first question, Kafka will then ask you to defeat the Cloud Knights or persuade them to leave. You can’t persuade the Cloud Knights at first, but the second encounter can be avoided.

After defeating the Cloud Knights, head back to Kafka where its your turn to ask her a question. Again, the dialogues you chose in this section will not affect the story in any way.

After playing the Truth and Lies game, you will be tasked with taking down two enemies. This time, you will have a chance to avoid conflict by solving the Abacus Circuitry puzzles.

After completing the task, the next round of Truth and Lies game will continue. After answering the question, Yanqing will arrive and will try to arrest Kafka. Defeat him to proceed to complete the mission.
