Global Esports CEO Talks About Hacking Allegations Against Team Mayavi

Global Esports CEO Talks About Hacking Allegations Against Team Mayavi

The recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 The Grind saw experienced teams go through many ups and downs. Teams of the likes of Global Esports, Entity, Team X Spark and Team 8Bit saw many highs and lows and some of them were also eliminated from the tournament.

The hype and excitement for BGIS 2023 The Grind amongst the players and the fans was amazing. It provided fierce competition between seasoned teams and underdog teams, but of course issues such as hacking and cheating are bound to arise when an event of such a scale takes place. Hackers have always been an issue in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Krafton has put in a lot of effort to ensure no one uses hacks or engages in unethical practices in the tournament. Players’ points of view (POV) of the matches are recorded and anti cheats are used to ensure no one cheats in the tournament.

Recently a lot of players playing BGIS 2023 The Grind accused Team Mayavi of using hacks in the tournament. Snehil “Snehilop” Saxena a Youtuber provided proof against Team Mayavi using hacks in BGIS 2023 The Grind. Rushindra “Rushi” Sinha, CEO of Global Esports and Mohit “Tsuki” Israney MD of Global Esports talked about the issue.

Team Mayavi Accused of Ringing

Rushindra Sinha talks about hacking allegations against Team Mayavi

Team Mayavi was recently accused of using hacks in BGIS 2023 The Grind by many teams. Snehil, who provided proof against Team Mayavi, has also exposed many teams in the past that were using hacks and carrying out various unethical practices.

In a recent video released by Global Esports, Rushindra Sinha, Mohit Israney, Rahul “Eminence” Hinduja and Vatsal Uniyal discussed hacking accusations against Team Mayavi. Vatsal said that he visited Team Mayavi’s bootcamp and the players were playing scrims and he didn’t notice anything suspicious at the time. He also said that he also checked all the players’ mobile devices and whatever tournament Team Mayavi plays it submits all their POV’s to said tournament management.

Rushindra Sinha also said that, “I spoke to Snehil, Goldy and Sid and I also saw all the videos. There were some clips that were suspicious and I asked Mayavi to explain those to me, Vatsal, Tsuki or the tournament organizers and Krafton which is more than enough. I don’t need to justify to everyone else. I have checked all the devices and other things of all the players whom we are working with and worked with in the past. I am also getting them to sign an affidavit, addressing and stating that Team Mayavi has not, either in the past, or in the present, or in the future, will use any hacks or cheats. So if Team Mayavi breach this, that means they are signing the affidavit knowing that they are lying and have used hacks, which would be very stupid legally”.

Mazy Believes Krafton May Release an Official Tier 1 Teams List After BGIS 2023

Many teams in the past and the present have suffered due to hackers and cheaters in tournaments. Hackers not only eliminate a team from the tournament, but they also deny a talented team the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
