Genshin Impact 4.0 Banners: Who Should You Pull For?

Genshin Impact 4.0 Banners: Who Should You Pull For?

Genshin Impact 4.0 is possibly the biggest update for the game this year. The update introduces players to the new region Fontaine, which is based on France. It also adds three new playable characters: Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. In addition, there are also new weapons, artifacts, bosses, and events added in this update that you can look forward to. When it comes to the banners, Lyney is the only new 5-star character joining this patch. Freminet and Lynette are joining as new 4-star characters and you will also unlock the Hydro powers of the Traveler (Aether/Lumine).

Genshin Impact 4.0 Banners

Phase 1:

Lyney (5-star Pyro character)

Yelan (5-star Hydro character)

Lynette (4-star Anemo character)

Xingqiu (4-star Hydro character)

Sayu (4-star Anemo character)

Lyney’s Elemental Skill, “Whimsical Wonders,” summons two Grin-Malkin Hats that orbit him. These hats can be fired at enemies, dealing Pyro damage. Lyney’s Elemental Burst, “Pyrotechnic Strike,” fires a powerful Pyro arrow that deals AoE damage.

Lyney is a powerful Pyro DPS character who can deal a lot of damage with his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. He is also a good support character, as his Grin-Malkin Hats can provide additional Pyro damage and Elemental Mastery.

Yelan’s Elemental Skill, “Flowing Lifeline,” allows her to dash forward and tangle enemies and ending her skill does a massive amount of damage.. Yelan’s Elemental Burst fires powerful arrows that deals single target Hydro damage and applies the “Hydro Buoyancy” status to enemies.

Yelan is a powerful Hydro Sub-DPS character who can deal a lot of damage with her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. She is also a good support character, as her “Hydro Buoyancy” status can increase the damage dealt by other Hydro characters.

Phase 2:

Zhongli (5-star Geo character)

Tartaglia (5-star Hydro character)

Freminet (4-star Cryo character)

Noelle (4-star Geo character)

Xinyan (4-star Pyro character)

Zhongli is a powerful Geo character who can provide excellent support to his team. His Elemental Skill, “Resonant Waves,” creates a Geo pillar that can absorb damage and deal Geo damage to enemies. His Elemental Burst, “Planet Befall,” summons a meteor that deals AoE Geo damage and creates a shield for all nearby characters.

Zhongli is a great choice for any team, but he is especially useful for teams that need protection and support. He is a valuable asset to any player’s roster.

Tartaglia is a powerful Hydro character who can deal a lot of damage with his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. His Elemental Skill allows him to change his stance and his attacks deal Hydro damage. His Elemental Burst can be fired in a melee or ranged stance, both of which can deal massive burst damage.

Who should you pull in Genshin Impact 4.0?

If you don’t have any of the 5-stars coming this patch, you should probably go for Yelan or Zhongli as both of them are flexible characters that can fit into a lot of teams.

Tartaglia is also a top-meta unit and his “international” team featuring Kazuha, Xiangling and Bennet, is one of the strongest teams in the entire game. However, if you already have Kamisato Ayato, you may want to look at a different option. Lyney is a very fun character but is not as desirable as someone like Yelan or Zhongli.
