Free Fire India: Who’s the Brand Ambassador

Garena, the Singapore-based gaming developer, has announced the relaunch of Free Fire in India, with former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni as its brand ambassador. The version, available for download exclusively in India from September 5, incorporates unique content and features to promote safe, healthy, and fun gameplay for Indian users.

“Thala” MS Dhoni is the Brand Ambassador for Free Fire India

Garena has chosen Indian cricket icon MS Dhoni as the brand ambassador for Free Fire India. Dhoni will be celebrated as the first Indian sportsperson to be featured in-game as a playable character named “Thala“.

Free Fire India has already featured a diverse range of characters, and it will be exciting to see what abilities will be associated with MS Dhoni’s avatar. As the first Indian sportsperson to be featured in-game as a playable character, “Thala” Dhoni will be joined by other prominent athletes, including Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri, badminton champion Saina Nehwal, tennis legend Leander Paes, and Kabaddi champion Rahul Chaudhari. Free Fire India has also released a brand new video featuring all the athletes that are set to appear in the game.

The global version of Free Fire already features popular athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo. With the addition of MS Dhoni and other Indian athletes, Free Fire India is set to become even more exciting and engaging for players.

The championship will take place later this month and is open to teams across India. The winners will earn the opportunity to represent India at the Free Fire World Series in Thailand this November.

Garena’s relaunch of Free Fire in India, with MS Dhoni as the brand ambassador, showcases their dedication to providing a highly localized and engaging gaming experience for Indian players.
