Diablo 4 Mother's Blessing Weekend Event: All You Need To Know

The Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing weekend is coming to the action RPG soon. With Diablo 4 Season 2 still a long way away, fans are left with a content drought. Blizzard Entertainment has decided to bring a new event to the game this weekend. From 1st Sept to 5th Sept, Diablo 4 players will be able to get something extra for their weekend grind. The Mother’s Blessing weekend event is also accompanied by a week-long sale on Battle.net where Diablo 4 will also be discounted. Here is all you need to know about the Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing Weekend event.

Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing Weekend Event Boost

Sanctuary has been blessed by mother and starting this Saturday, at 1 a.m. SGT (GMT+8), players will receive XP and Gold at a 25% increased rate (applies to both the Seasonal and Eternal Realms, and for all World Tiers). This is a great time to level up your character, catch up to your friends and get your hands on more legendary loot. The boost will actually last post the weekend, till Wednesday 6th September 1 a.m. SGT (GMT+8). Expect the Mother’s Blessing weekend event to go live on Friday, 1st September at 10:00 am PDT in the US. For Europe, that’s 5:00 pm UTC. Look for the new in-game icon beside your potion count that signifies the increased rate of earning Gold and XP.

Blizzard is also having a sale on Battle.net, where from today, 29th August, 2023 till till Wednesday 6th September 1 a.m. SGT (GMT+8), Diablo IV will be up to 25% off on Battle.net.

Players can use this opportunity to try out additional Season of the Malignant storylines and quests ahead of the recently announced Season of Blood.

What to expect in Diablo 4 Season of Blood?

The new season of Diablo 4 sees a Vampire Hunter companion called Erys added to the game, voiced by actress Gemma Chan. Players will have to face a new vampire lord as part of the quests. Along with new content, the developers have decided to make some changes to existing systems including updates to Renown rewards, gem and stash storage and changes to status effects including elemental status effects. You will be able to carry over Skill Points, Paragon Points, Potion Charges and Obol capacity upgrades to the new season once achieved with an Eternal or previous Seasonal Realm character.
