Training and consulting company Bunyan has partnered with management and consulting company ibMedia to create a new entity based in Saudi Arabia.

ibMedia Saudi Arabia will organise educational programmes in esports and gaming, as well as offer esports consulting services to individuals and companies in the region.

The two companies are well-established in their fields. The ibMedia Group specialises in business intelligence in the esports, gaming and digital entertainment industries, as well as in education via its M42 Education sub-brand.

On the other hand, Bunyan offers staff training and consulting services in tourism, hospitality and entertainment industries in Saudi Arabia.

The idea to create a new business venture together came to life due to a major rise in interest for gaming in Saudi Arabia. The new venture will help educate those interested in the gaming and esports industries via a series of programmes and also help companies interested in establishing operations in Saudi Arabia.

The company announced that its core team, consisting of CEO of ibMedia Group Frank Sliqka, CEO of Bunyan Nabil Tuker and the head of ibMedia Saudi Arabia Tej Desai will present the venture at Gamescom 2023 in Germany.

The company representatives will participate in discussions and explain the advantages of entering the Saudi esports and gaming ecosystems.

Frank Sliwka, CEO of ibMedia Group, commented: “With the meteoric rise of mobile gaming, barriers to entry have lowered and made everyone a gamer, giving rise to the explosion of the overall industry growth.

“As a consequence, we are witnessing a huge demand from both endemic and non-endemic brands seeking vast amounts of talent to join the industry… and our goal is to equip this talent with the requisite knowledge and skill sets to succeed in this industry.”
